When I was in Nicaragua I saw TONS of roosters/chickens/even a TURKEY one time cross the road. I also learned that roosters are FEARLESS - they get really territorial and will come at you. It's kinda scary - some of them have huge talons on their legs, and they can mess you up pretty good.

i've lived in idaho or utah all my life and i can honestly say i have never seen a rooster (or chicken) cross the road.
