Dogs of Oregon

I have decided that nearly everyone in Oregon owns a dog. Every where we went we saw people with dogs. I must have pet 20 or 30 different dogs in the 4 days I was there. These were the only two nice enough to pose for me. I love the demeanor and color of that top dog.

I have a dear friend in Idaho that collects sand from various places (She's got 11 so far from both American coasts, the Caribbean, and even Europe.) I'm sending her this jar full from the Oregon Coast.

Vehicular Bugslaughter

Oakley, CA

To help me sleep at night, I've convinced myself that these bugs were carrying west Nile and swine flu and that I had to kill them before they killed me. As I drove the 700 miles I kept trying to figure out why my lights were dimming. It was the dead carcasses dimming my dead lights.
