deaf

Antioch, CA

Back in December I had a doctor tell me my ears were full of wax. He told me to start using Debrox. So i do, but it doesn't seem to be cleaning them out. So today I did what my mother used to do - I used Q-Tips. That didn't do a whole lot of good either. Not only did I pull a whole bunch of wax out - but now my ear feels clogged. I would say I'm open so suggestions, but it may fall on deaf ears.

  1. You don't know me, but I enjoy looking at your blog. I found it through Cindy Baldwin. Anyway, I had an earwax build-up one time and the doctor himself actually cleaned it out. It felt weird, but it really did the job. My sister has actually had to have it done a couple of times. It might be something to ask about.

  2. I also recommend getting your ears washed out at the doctors. If you can't hear, they'll especially do it, and if it's hardened they'll tell you to put softener in it for a few days, and then come back and they'll shoot warm water in your ear with a syringe and it will all beautifully come out looking like undissolved chicken bullion. (i had to get it done once..) afterward it will feel so cleanie-clean!

  3. I actually have to do this for Olivia all the time because she has an odd shaped ear canal in her right ear that doesn't allow wax to work it's way out properly. Just make sure you use water as warm as you can tolerate-cool water will make you dizzy and and you'll vomit. it's amazing how much your inner controls.

I can show you when you come out, isn't that exciting, I can show you stuff because I'll see you soon!
