It turns out it isn't orange

Evidently, I thought I would spend 2009 being wrong when Nina was right - a lot. I really thought this was orange. Shouldn't basketball tie tacks be orange?

    Perhaps, but I am guessing that because it is a tie pin they made it silver so it would go with more ties AND so it wouldn't look tacky.
